Two-time Emmy nominee and Emmy Award–winning colorist, DI finishing editor, and seasoned post-production supervisor. Nearly two decades in post, 45+ IMDb credits across documentary, feature film, and television.

Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Alex studied at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, earning a B.F.A. in Film Production with an emphasis on cinematography and directing before diving headfirst into post.
His first post-supervisor role was on Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me (2014), which earned an Oscar nomination and a Grammy award. The portfolio spans Alzheimer's research, biopics on music legends like Linda Ronstadt, David Crosby, and Gregg Allman, and major releases such as Apple's Stephen Curry: Underrated and the Obama-produced Netflix docuseries Working: What We Do All Day.
Recent work includes the Emmy-nominated Chimp Crazy (from the creators of Tiger King), and Andre Is an Idiot and Predators—both of which premiered at Sundance 2025.
In 2025, Alex co-founded MOSAIC, a state-of-the-art color and DI finishing facility in Burbank — the same year he picked up his second Emmy nomination, adding to the Emmy Award he won in 2024 as colorist for FOX Sports. Two nominations, one win.
